Product Description
ProdromeGlia™ Oil is the liquid form of Prodrome's omega-9 plasmalogen precursor, made for adults who want daily nutritional support for calm focus and the protective membranes around nerve cells, in a format that mixes into a drink.
Plasmalogens are phospholipids found in high amounts in brain white matter, myelin, and the heart. Oleic acid (omega-9) plasmalogens are especially common in glial cells, which support and insulate neurons. ProdromeGlia™ supplies omega-9 plasmalogen precursors the body can use in its own membrane-building pathways.
The usual serving is 1 mL a day (equal to 2 softgels), mixed into 1 to 4 oz of a drink other than water, or added to empty gel caps. Prodrome recommends taking it in the evening. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place.

How it helps those with Long COVID
How it helps those with Long COVID
Many people with long COVID describe a nervous system that feels on edge, along with brain fog and fatigue. ProdromeGlia Oil gives the same omega-9 plasmalogen support as the softgels in a liquid that mixes into a drink, which helps people who prefer not to swallow capsules. Prodrome suggests evening use. It fits alongside sleep, pacing, and guidance from a clinician. Individual experiences vary.
Scientific Explanation
Scientific Explanation
Myelin is unusually rich in plasmalogens, and oleic acid (18:1, omega-9) species are common in the glial cells that produce and maintain it. These lipids help myelin pack tightly, which supports the insulation that lets nerve signals travel quickly, and their vinyl-ether bond helps buffer membranes against oxidation. Alkylglycerol precursors bypass the early peroxisomal steps of plasmalogen synthesis and can be built into membrane plasmalogens. These mechanisms describe normal membrane biochemistry and do not establish a treatment effect for any disease.
